Marvel solicitations for new Star Wars comics releasing August 2021 are finally here! I love parsing these to see what first appearances, key events, and treats might be in store! No pre-order links yet, but keep your eyes peeled on TFAW for those to go live and we’ll update here as soon as we have those links!
So, here are some observations, then feel free to peruse the full solicits yourself below!
I’m interested in the David Nakayama “Wanted Poster” line of variants. Nakayama is a great artist with a clean and sleek style. Plus, I’m thinking we’ll get the poster text in Aurebesh.
Bounty Hunters #15 promises that Tasu Leech will be back. Han Solo had a run in with Tasu Leech back in the Force Awakens. Tasu Leech first appeared in comics in The Force Awakens Adaptation #2 from Marvel.
Although people in the employ of Darth Vader tend to have short shelf lives, Ochi of Bestoon is still around for War of the Bounty Hunters as of Darth Vader #15! Ochi made a last page cameo in 2020’s Darth Vader #6 and his first full appearance in #7.
