Hot Toys have released over 50 final product images of Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker Kylo Ren 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure photographed by SiupingKindar, WJ.Jongobell, and other official Hot Toys photographers.

As Hot Toys makes abundantly clear in their disclaimers, things can change between the solicit prototype photos and the production model. This is the day we see what fell by the wayside and what managed to make it into production. What head sculpt changes, costume changes, and accessory changes (if any) were made.

ABOUT THIS SIXTH SCALE FIGURE

The son of Han Solo and Leia Organa, Ben Solo was seduced by the dark side of the Force. and renamed himself Kylo Ren, becoming the First Order’s champion and Supreme Leader Snoke’s student. Kylo killed his father and seeks to destroy his mother’s Resistance and the remnants of the Jedi Order. Though a servant of the dark side, he still struggles against the pull of the light side of the Force.

Thanks for the beautiful pics!

I just… I’m heartbroken that the prototype figure in these gorgeous photos COULD have been what went on sale, but it’s not.

The final figure is nice. Excellent work as ever, but My GOD, the prototype is BREATHTAKING.

Same for the Rey figure. Her production run sculpt is altogether more clumsy and unflattering than the more subtle, more gentle, and more ambiguous facial expression of her prototype. Her prototype has a face MUCH more open to interpretation and more flexible for a wider variety of poses.

What a missed opportunity! I mourn for what we lost.
