I’ve always wondered what made the Hutts so formidable and why everybody takes orders from them. I mean sure they have minions, but why do the minions follow them? They don’t seem particularly fast or strong. Up until the appearance of Grakkus the Hutt, I thought it impossible that there could be an athletic and strong Hutt.
At any rate, the Hutts were at the height of their power and the height of their meddling in Republic affairs during the High Republic. Making a last page cameo in High Republic #4, Myarga the Benevolent, a Hutt with seemingly large amounts of influence, makes his first appearance along with a cadre of Rancor and an army of mercenaries in the upcoming High Republic #5 by Cavan Scott and Ario Anindito. High Republic #5 is out 5/12/2021!
