Starwars.com published solicitations for the next wave of High Republic stories across all media, comics, books, and more today.
Marvel, IDW, and Viz Media’s comic book offerings were included.
It looks like the High Republic overarching story will be comprised of two main components in this next wave. First, a “Republic Fair” designed by the Chancellor to celebrate the abundance unity can bring to the galaxy. The Padawans of High Republic Adventures will team up with Leox Gyasi and the crew of the Vessel (formerly seen in “Into the Dark” novel by Claudia Gray). So, we will probably get our first comic appearance of Leox ( a Han Solo type freighter/smuggler), his navigator, Geode, and his co-pilot Affie Hollow comic up in the next couple Adventures issues here, but definitely by issue #6. However, you can’t have star without the wars, so madness ensues with the Nihil. Meanwhile, Avar Kriss and Keeve Trennis investigate the Drengir and just who the Great Progenitor are in Marvel’s The High Republic.
Edge of Balance will feature Lily Tora-Asi who made her first unnamed cameo in Star Wars The High Republic Adventures #3.
Of course, the non-illustrated fiction (or “novel” or “real books”) world has some offerings fleshing these story threads out as well.
