Hot Toys have announced a new line of Marvel Comics 1/6 Scale action figures called “The Origins Collection.” This collection seeks to depict characters from their comics origins, deviating from its wildly successful Marvel Cinematic Universe line. Hot Toys is starting out with a die cast figure of one of their most popular characters that has previously come in countless different variations, sold out over and over again, and soared in the aftermarket–Iron Man! This new figure features Iron Man as he originally appeared in the early issues of Tales of Suspense (after he ditched his original grey metal armor to be specific)(Iron Man’s red and gold armor first appears in Tales of Suspense #48 (December 1963)).
This figure features tons of LED light-up features, and clear panels that show off the inner mechanics of the Iron Man suit!
Going back to the origins of our favorite super heroes, Hot Toys is bringing The Origins Collection which takes inspiration from the pages of classic Marvel Comics.
