In early 2020, the Mandalorian Season 1 had landed, Baby Yoda has made his adorable presence known, and Star Wars fans were chomping at the bit for Baby Yoda collectibles.
Like a lone rider entering town with the sun setting behind him, the hovering pram of Baby Yoda from Mattel made his way to the New York Toy Fair floor. The floating and spinning pram was specially built by Michael Kadile to showcase the new 11 inch plush that was one of the first Grogu collectibles to be released.
Now you can win the actual magnetically floating pram showcase piece from the New York Toy Fair floor and all the proceeds will go to charity! Check it out on Ebay!
StarWars.com has the exclusive on the news:
Today, Mattel Creations, in partnership with ProjectArt, will place one specially-crafted hovering pram up for bid through an online auction on eBay and 100% of the final auction price (minus PayPal fees if purchased via PayPal) will benefit ProjectArt, a charity that supports the arts for underserved K-12 students by promoting teaching and learning through visual arts. Bidding is open now through March 5.
Bidding on the eBay auction for the Mattel floating pram is open through March 5 at 9 a.m. PST at ebay.com/mattelcreations.
In other news, a mass market version of this floating pram, the “Star Wars – The Mandalorian The Child – Collector Edition Plush with Hover Pram” will be available between March 5 at 9 a.m. PST and ending at 9 a.m. PST on March 12 along with Star Wars x Barbie dolls signed by acclaimed Barbie designer, Robert Best.
