Everybody’s talking about WandaVision, but there’s other MCU buzz right now!
The trading card company, Topps, have released a set of four digital trading card images showing the costumes for Winter Soldier, Falcon, Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) and John F. Walker (Wyatt Russell). There are small updates for Winter Soldier and Falcon’s look, but the big headline here is John F. Walker as Captain America!
John F. Walker first appeared in Captain America # 323 as Super Patriot and took up the Captain America Mantle in Captain America #333. It looks like the MCU is taking some U.S.Agent inspiration in the costume design, but skipping that step in Walker’s progression as a hero.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is scheduled to release on Disney+ March 19, 2021.
