So, I came from England to the U.S. as a small child. My first interaction with Gumby was on T.V. during the time around 1995 and he struck me as very, very weird, bordering on disturbing. The blockheads, too, were off-putting to say the least.
But, to some, this is a beloved fixture in their childhood. So, more power to ya!
